Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today, Eight children were present with two staff. Children were observed singing songs as a transition to hand washing and lunch, reading books and heading outside for activities. The center focuses on a curriculum that incorporates outside education and children dress accordingly for weather. Two records for children were reviewed, staff training, physical space, medication and emergency preparation. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on medication review, an emergency medication that is on-site has expired. Evidence: An emergency medication for child #1 expired 11/2022.
Plan of Correction:
The center director will reach out to the family to bring in a new medication.
