Comments:
A renewal inspection was completed on Monday, May 1, 2023. There were 3 children in care, 1 household members child present with 1 caregiver and 1 assistant supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records, 1 caregiver, and 1 household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of caregivers records and interview, the licensee did not ensure to obtain a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training annually.
Evidence: In the caregiver's and assistant records there was no documentation of annual training found. Interview with caregiver confirmed a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training was not available for review during the inspection.
Plan of Correction:
The licensee will ensure to complete annual 16 hours of training as required and will maintain documentation for review.
