Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 4/15/2024 from 10:33 am to 11:50 am. Five children, ages seven month to three years (total of 17 points) were in care with two caregivers. The Licensing Inspector reviewed three children?s records, two provider records, one household member records, and other program records. The children were observed napping and having diapers changed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review, the family day home failed to obtain a report of Tuberculosis Screening every two years for each caregiver and adult household member.
EVIDENCE: 1. The most recent TB screening for staff 1 was dated 1/3/2022.
2. The most recent TB screening for staff 2 was dated 1/3/2022.
3. The most recent TB screening for household member 1 (over 18 years old) was dated 11/8/2021.
Plan of Correction:
Staff 1 will make appointments for TB screenings for the three people to be done as quickly as possible.
