Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 to determine the provider?s compliance with licensing standards that could not be determined during the initial inspection. The inspector arrived at 10:20am and concluded the inspection at approximately 11:15am. There was one child present and two caregivers. Per the provider, the child is not enrolled at the family day home. The bathroom, kitchen, and designated childcare areas were all inspected during today's inspection. The first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected. There are no children enrolled at this time. A total of two caregiver records and one household member?s records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation and interview on 05/17/22, the provider did not ensure to have a land line telephone, excluding a cordless or cell phone, available, operable, and accessible during the family day home's hours of operation.
Evidence: 1) During the inspection, the licensing inspector asked to see the provider's landline telephone. The provider stated there was no working land line telephone available in the home at the time of the inspection.
