Technical Assistance:
You will need to set off your smoke detector when doing monthly escape drills.
Please read the standards and put into practice all applicable requirements. You must establish children's files on each child and make sure the information required upon enrollment has been obtained and in the files. Please adhere to all timeframes pertaining to children's records.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-50-A
Description: Based on observation and interview, it was determined that the provider is not maintaining a written record of children in attendance each day.
Evidence:
There was no attendance maintained for 7/26/22. There were 4 children present.

Plan of Correction: I will maintain an attendance.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-A
Description: Based on interview, it was determined that the provider failed to maintain an up-to-date record for child A, child B, child C and Child D. Children A, B and C enrolled on 7/11/22 and child D enrolled on 7/26/22.

Plan of Correction: I will establish files on all of the children.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-70-A
Description: Based on interview, it was determined that there was no written information provided to parents covered under this standard before the children's first day of attendance.
Evidence:
There was no written information provided to the parents of child A, B,C and D.

Plan of Correction: I will give the parents the written agreement.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-690-D
Description: Based on observation and interview, it was determined that the diapering surface was not separate from surfaces used for children's activities;
Evidence:
The Licensing Inspector observed clothes, boxes, paper, crafts and bags sitting on the diapering surface that the provider uses to change soiled diapers.

Plan of Correction: The items were removed during the inspection.

Description: Based on observation and interview, it was determined that the findings of the most recent inspection of the facility was not posted.

Plan of Correction: I will remember to post the most recent findings.
