Comments:
The provider is present with 4 children during this renewal inspection, her mother is also there. A total of 12 points. Observed the children eating lunch. They space is set up with many areas to explore and lots of interaction was observed between provider and children. The children went to the park today and after lunch they will be napping. Today the had Beans , Rice, Chicken, cucumbers, bananas and blueberries for lunch. Milk was offered as a drink. A violation notice was given to the provider along with this inspection. Please call me at 703-203-8659 if you have any questions regarding this inspection.
The family day home provider failed to keep up to date attendance records for the children in care. Evidence: Based on the review of the attendance records, the provider has not done attendance for the children in care since June 9th. She does have attendance for the children that participate in the food program but not for all children.
Plan of Correction:
I will make sure I take daily attendance every day
