Comments:
AN unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/11/2024 from 12:20 to 1:20. The provider had 5 children in care totaling 12 points. Observed the transition from lunch to nap and nap time. Discussed the provider now offering services to early head start children and some of the new experiences. Children were observed playing with toys, reading books, brushing teeth and getting ready for nap. A Violation notice was given to the provider along with this inspection summary. Please call me at 703-203-8659 or email me at pernille.brandt@doe.virginia.gov if you have any questions regarding this inspection.
Based on the review of two household member records, the provider failed to get subsequent TB tests done. Evidence: two household members, 1 and 2 have TB tests last done on 3/1/2022. Subsequest TB screenings have not been done.
Plan of Correction:
We will make sure we get TB screenings
