A complaint inspection was conducted today. A complaint was received regarding the centers activities. The inspector interviewed staff, inspected the physical space nd play equipment. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on interview with staff, children who are not toilet trained are using the portable wading pools. Evidence Staff #1 confirmed children who are not toilet trained are using the portable wading pools. There are wearing diapers or swim diapers when in the wading pools.
Plan of Correction:
I did not realize they could not use the wading pools. They will only use the sprinkles and other water toys, they will not go into the wading pools effective immediately.
