Comments:
A 60 day follow up inspection was conducted on August 17, 2022. There were 8 children present, with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, hazardous substances, such as cleaning materials were not kept in a locked place preventing access to children. Evidence Clorox wipes were left out in the bathroom the children use, making them accessible to the children.

Wipes were removed during the inspection.

Description:
Based on review of two children's records, one did not contain documentation of parental authorization to administer over the counter diaper cream. Evidence The record for child #1 did not contain parental authorization to apply over the counter diaper cream that was located in the diapering area.
Plan of Correction:
We will have all parents that use any over the counter medication complete the parental authorization form.
