Comments:
A mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on July 20, 2023 from 2:00pm-2:45pm. There were 6 children in care (19 points) with 2 staff supervising. Children were observed sleeping, being held by the providers after waking, playing freely, washing hands and eating snack. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, the provider did not ensure an emergency evacuation procedures were practiced monthly.
Evidence: May and June drills were not completed. While provider stated drills were conducted, there is no documentation.

We will make sure to write down our drills.
