Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. There was 1 child (2 points) with one caregiver present. The child was observed playing with toys, working on color recognition, numbers and letters. Handwashing was also observed. 1 child, 2 caregiver and 6 resident records were reviewed. All were complete. Emergency evacuation drills, fridge/freezer temperatures, bathroom supplies, diapering supplies, labeled cot, age appropriate toys and equipment, first aid supplies and emergency supplies were all in compliance today.

Based on a review of records, the provider has not maintained documentation of current rabies vaccinations. Evidence: 2 cats residing in the home have expired rabies vaccinations. Both vaccinations expired 8/4/23.
Plan of Correction:
An appointment is already scheduled for next week to get the vaccinations renewed.
