Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 8/14/2023 and concluded on 8/14/2023. There were 36 children present with eight staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of one child record and eight staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 1:21 pm and concluded at 3:30 pm.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation the center failed to ensure that a nonabsorbent surface for diapering or changing shall be used. Evidence: The diaper pad in the 2-3 year old classroom had tears causing the surface to be absorbent.
Plan of Correction:
The changing pad will be replaced.
