Comments:
An unannounced Renewal Inspection took place on January 18, 2023, between the hours of 1:05pm and 2:50pm. There were two (2) classrooms observed with a total of 25 children present with 5 staff supervising within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing with various manipulatives, and napping. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, required posted documents, first aid kit, and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. No medication on sight at the time of inspection. Violations were found during today?s inspection and can be viewed on the Violation Notice.

Based on record review and interview, the center did not maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: 1. At the time of inspection, two children (child #3 and child #5) in the Violet classroom were not signed out upon their departure on the daily attendance. 2. The staff #4 acknowledged the two children were not signed out on the daily attendance sheet when they departed for the day.
Plan of Correction:
I will sign them out now and will be sure I do this in the future. Violation was corrected during the inspection.
