Comments:
An unannounced non-mandated inspection, as required by the Conditional License, was conducted on 10/24/2022. The inspector was on site from 2:15pm until 3:45pm.
There were twenty-four children under the care of three staff. The ages of the children ranged from five to eleven years old. The children were observed during homework time and snack time. Three children?s records and two staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program

Based on medication review, the center failed to notify the parent of expired medication for pick-up or the parent to renew the authorization.
Evidence: Child #1 had medication that expired on 09/22 on site during the inspection on 10/24/2022.
Plan of Correction:
Medication was sent home with parent.
