A initial inspection was initiated for this Voluntary Registered Family Day Home on 10/3/2022 and concluded on 10/3/2022. There are no children enrolled, due to the delivery of her own child the Provider will start caring for children in January 2023. At that time she will have 2 children of her own. She will take children starting at age 2 years old. The 3 level townhome was inspected, the childcare will be on the lower level as you enter the townhouse. There will be one room used, the garage will be used in the future for gross motor play. Reviewed the health and safety checklist with the provider. Sample forms for the children's records will be emailed to the provider.
The provider will purchase a changing table and step on trash can for diapering, a gate will be placed at the bottom of the steps leading to the second floor. The carbon monoxide detector is in place and a first aid kit is available. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law.
