Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 10/3/2023. There were 7 children present with the provider and 1 staff supervising. The point total was 15. Children were observed eating breakfast and engaged in outdoor play. A total of 5 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9 am and concluded at 10:35 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review and staff interview the licensee did not ensure the family day home shall keep a written record of children in attendance each day. Evidence: The licensee confirmed there was no record of attendance of children the following days: 9/26, 27, 28, 29, and 10/2.
Plan of Correction:
I have made a point to take attendance every day and have set an alarm to remind me.
