Comments:
An announced initial inspection was conducted on 1/11/2023. There were no children present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed the health and safety checklist items including: posted documentation, the flashlight and first aid kit, meals and snacks, naptime and safe sleep routines, indoor and outdoor play areas, and hand washing. Two provider/household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please provide a corrective action plan that describes the standard not met, the action to be taken to meet it and the date by which it shall be completed with your signature. Based on observation and interview, the provider was not in compliance with all the criteria on the health and safety checklist. Evidence: 1) Section 1: there was no 911 or emergency numbers posted or a posted evacuation plan 2) Section 2: there were no outlet covers in areas accessible to children; there was no protective barrier, such as a safety gate, placed at the stairway 3) Section 3: there were no disposable or individually assigned towels in the bathroom
Plan of Correction:
Section 1 - 911 number has been posted Section 2 - protective barrier for the outlets have been installed Section 3 - individual disposable towels have been purchased and placed in the bathroom
