Comments:
An unannounced renewal study off of the Conditional license was conducted. Seven children were in care for 18 points with two caregivers. Observed free play, diapering, transition to lunch and hand washing. Reviewed records for children, emergency preparation, training hours and physical space. The provider was given additional support for paperwork requirements for children's records, reviewed information about increasing capacity and the need for a Special Use Permit from Fairfax County as well as assistant requirements and the need for an assistant if she has more than 16 points. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
