An investigation was initiated from 11:30 am - 12:45 pm in conjunction with a monitoring inspection to investigate a complaint received by the department regarding preventing the spread of disease and special feeding needs. Interviews were conducted, documentation, child records, and staff records were reviewed. The portion of the complaint regarding preventing the spread of disease is determined to be not valid. The portion of the complaint regarding special feeding needs is determined to be valid.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on interviews and review of documentation it was determined that children were not always fed in accordance with parental instructions. Evidence: On 01/30/2024, child A (Age 13 months) was fed at 9:39 am and had not been fed again when they were picked up at 3:11 pm. The feeding schedule for child A states that they should be fed every 2 - 4 hours.
Plan of Correction:
Children will be fed in accordance with parental instruction to the feeding plan and documented accordingly.
