Emergency escape (fire) drills need to be conducted and recorded monthly and shelter-in-place drills need to be conducted twice a year.

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the provider on August 14, 2023 beginning at 12:45pm and ending at 1:57pm. There were two children, ages 18 months and 3 years old, in the care of the provider for a total of 5 points. The children were observed playing and preparing to take a nap on resting mats. The children's records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider's record and two household members' records were reviewed and in compliance. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider does not give medication at this time and is aware that Medication Administration Training (MAT) is required to do so. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were observed. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was conducted 8/2/2023.
