Comments:
An initial subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was begun and concluded on March 20, 2023. There were three children present with two staff supervising. A code compliance inspection was also conducted on this date.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program
Based on record review the vendor failed to ensure that orientation training for staff is completed on facility specific topics prior to the staff member working alone with children and within seven days from the date of employment. or the subsidy vendor approval. Evidence: There is not any documentation in three out of three staff records reviewed that facility specific orientation was completed.
