Technical Assistance given and licensing standards were reviewed regarding physical plant, diaper disposal container, outdoor equipment, gates for stairs, step stools and emergency exits.

An initial inspection was completed on May 5, 2023, from 11:00am to approximately 12:30pm.
The owner was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection and scheduled for the above date and time. The applicant intends to operate a Child Day Center for up to 30 children, ranging in age from 2 tears old to 12 years old. The Inspector reviewed 5 staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. A tour was given of the entire facility to include areas where children will be cared for, bathroom facilities, kitchen, rest area, and outdoor playground were inspected. First aid and emergency supplies, documentation of emergency practice drills, the emergency preparedness plan and required postings were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. A six month conditional license is recommended to allow the applicant the opportunity to demonstrate continued compliance with the Standards for Licensed of Child Day Center. All future inspections will be unannounced. The first unannounced inspection will be conducted within 60 days from the date the license is issued.
