6/12/23 Arrived 10:10am Departed 11:55am An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were four children present (ages 4yrs-7yrs), plus the provider's children for a total of seven points, with the provider and an assistant. The children were playing with toys, playing electronic games and playing an electric piano. Four child records were reviewed. Thank you for your cooperation. Please contact me if I may be of service
Based on a tour of the home the provider failed to ensure that all medication is kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: 1. Household medications are inaccessible to children, but are not in a locked area.
Plan of Correction:
The provider will keep the door locked to prevent entry to the area where medicine is stored.
