A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on March 8, 2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, 27 children were in care with 5 supervising staff members present. Children were observed during bottle feeding, handwashing, books, engaged in group activities and outdoor play time. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on record review and interview, all staff who work with children did not have within 90 days of the date of employment current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR). Evidence: 1. Staff #2 (Date of hire-08/21/2023) and Staff #3 (Date of hire-11/06/2023) did not have documentation of current CPR. 2. Staff #6 confirmed that Staff #2 and Staff #3 had not completed certification in CPR.
