Comments:
An announced initial inspection was conducted with the provider.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of the health and safety checklist and background checks. One caregiver record and one household member record was reviewed.

Based on review of documentation and observation, not all criteria of the health and safety checklist were in compliance. 1. Emergency telephone numbers were not posted in clear view 2. Not all electrical outlets were equipped with child-proof covers in areas accessible to children. There were two uncovered outlets in the childcare area and two uncovered outlets in the bathroom designated for childcare. 3. Refrigerator temperature could not be determined because the applicant did not have a thermometer for the fridge.
Plan of Correction:
1. Emergency numbers will be posted as soon as possible 2. All outlets will be covered with protective covers 3. A thermometer will be purchased for the fridge to ensure temperature is at 40 degrees or lower
