Comments:
A initial inspection was conducted on April 19, 2023 to review voluntary registration requirements. There were no children present as there are none enrolled. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of caregiver record, emergency supplies, required postings, physical plant and equipment, . One caregiver record was reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation, provider did not meet the criteria on the health and safety checklist at the time of the initial evaluation.
Evidence: The following was observed: 1. A 911 sticker or emergency telephone numbers were not posted in clear view. 2. The stairway leading upstairs does not have hand or guard rails for the first 4 steps. Children will use these stairs as the restroom is located on the second floor. 3. The children's restroom is on the second floor and there is not a protective barrier at the top of the stairway leaving the steps accessible to children. 4. The restroom did not have disposable or individually assigned towels for children's use.
