Comments:
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 9/20/23 from 10:20 am to 11:30 am. There were 3 children (8 points) present with 1 caregiver supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on records review, caregivers did not complete the Virginia Preservice Training within 90 days of employment. Evidence: The family day home was approved for to be a subsid vendor in May 2023. Caregiver # 1 has not completed the VA. Preservice Training to this date.
Plan of Correction:
The training will be completed by 10/13/23.
