Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 2/29/2024. The inspector arrived at 10:45 AM and departed at 11:35 AM. There were 4 children present, totaling 14 points, with the provider supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Violations were reviewed with the provider during the exit interview.
Based upon observation, the provider has not ensured that toxic household products are in areas inaccessible to the children. Evidence: There was a can of aerosol disinfecting spray with a warning label on the back of the toilet in the hallway , used for children's hand washing and diapering.
Plan of Correction:
The provider responded with the following: The spray was moved from the bathroom during the inspection and will not be kept in the bathroom during the hours that children are present.
