Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted November 16, 2023 between 8:58am and 10:00am. There were 5 children present with one (1) caregiver supervising within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing with play-doh, singing and dancing, story time, washing hands, and eating snack. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas administration, required posted documents, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programing, medication, evacuation drill logs, menu, first aid supplies, attendance, child and caregiver records, and emergency procedures. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, potentially poisonous materials, cleaning agents and disinfectants are accessible to children. Evidence: The cabinet under the kitchen sink had poisonous materials and cleaning supplies store inside that were accessible to children.
Plan of Correction:
I will move them to a higher cabinet until I can get a lock put on the cabinet.
Violation was corrected during the inspection.
