An unannounced Subsidy and Health Inspection was conducted with in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. One allergy care plan was reviewed and in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training and current certification in First Aid and CPR.

Based on a review of three staff records, it was determined that not all staff members had current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care. Evidence: Staff #1's CPR certification expired August 2023.
Plan of Correction:
The staff will complete first aid and CPR training to renew their certification.
