An unannounced complaint inspection was completed from 10:05 until 11:35 based on a complaint received in this office 10/24/23. Interviews were held with staff. .
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violation were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on interviews, the center did not always maintain sight and sound supervision of children under 10 years of age. Evidence: 1. Witness #1 stated that on 10/24/23, a preschool age child was observed alone on the playground at approximately 2:00pm. The witness then took the child back to her classroom. Staff #1 verified that child #1 was left alone on the playground for approximately 1-2 minutes.
Plan of Correction:
Children will be kept in sight and sound supervision at all times and no be left unsupervised on the playground.
