Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted March 6, 2024 between 3:45pm and 5:51pm. There were 6 children present with three (3) caregivers supervising within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed coloring, looking at books, eating snack, toileting, sleeping, handwashing, and playing with other age-appropriate toys and materials. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas administration, required posted documents, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programing, evacuation drill logs, menu, first aid supplies, attendance, emergency procedures, and children, caregivers and household members records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, caregivers did not ensure that children's hands were washed with liquid soap and warm running water before eating. Evidence: 1. Caregiver #1 did not ensure children's hands were washed with liquid soap and running water before eating their snack.
Plan of Correction:
We will be sure to wash children's hands before they eat.
