An announced initial inspection for voluntary registration was conducted on 10/18/23 from 9:55am to 10:50am with the provider and one household child. The provider reports that there are no daycare children enrolled yet. A walk-through of the home was conducted; an observation of the outside play space was conducted; the provider?s record and two household member records were reviewed; policies and procedures were discussed through the Health and Safety checklist. Items on the checklist relating to the enrollment of children and the care of children could not be observed at this time, since no children were enrolled. The provider plans to operate 6:30am-6:00pm Monday through Friday. The provider will not administer medication at this time and is aware that Medication Administration Training is required in order to administer prescription medication. Emergency supplies were observed. The home is equipped with an abundant supply of toys. There were no violations cited as a result of the inspection. The issuance of a certificate of registration will be recommended at this time.
