Discussed renewal application process with provider.
Comments:
A renewal inspection was initiated on 3/18/2024 at approximately 11:40am and concluded on 3/18/2024 at approximately 12:40pm. There were a total of 11 children (26 points) observed with 2 caregivers present. The children were engaged in the following: activity stations, napping, outdoor play, and other organized activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel and household members, physical environment, care of children, handwashing, diapering, medication, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 caregiver/household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on inspecting the outdoor play equipment, it was determined that outdoor equipment was not maintained in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Evidence: Rust was found on the outdoor playground climbing plane.
Plan of Correction:
Provider will remove rust and paint over the area.
