An announced initial inspection for voluntary registration was conducted on 12/13/23 from 10:25am to 11:15am with the provider. There were no daycare children present as the provider reports none are enrolled yet. One household child was present, for a total of four points. A walk-through of the home was conducted to check for hazards, and required documentation was reviewed. As no daycare children were present, some of the requirements relating to the enrollment of children and the care of children could not be observed. The provider?s policies and procedures and the Health and Safety checklist were discussed with the provider. The provider plans to operate year-round, 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The provider will not administer prescription medication at this time and is aware that Medication Administration Training is required in order to administer prescription medication. The home is equipped with toys and other childcare supplies. There were no violations cited as a result of the inspection. The issuance of a certificate of registration will be recommended at this time.
