Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 5/17/24 and concluded on 5/17/24. There were nine children present with two staff supervising a third staff came in after lunch. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and five staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 12:15 pm and concluded at 2:00 pm.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record reviews the center failed to ensure that each staff shall have a fingerprint based background check prior to working with the children. Evidence: Staff #2 (hire date 3/14/24) did not have a fingerprint background check on file prior to working with children.
