Comments:
A focused monitoring inspection was initiated on June 14, 2024 at 8:08 am until 9:57 am and completed on June 24, 2024 at the child day center. There were 5 children present with 3 staff supervising. There were observations of the children in care sitting at the table and in age appropriate equipment watching an interactive program, and playing with age appropriate toys . The inspector reviewed compliance the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.

Based on observations and photographs, the center did not ensure all hazardous substances are kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence: 1. The kitchen cabinet was unlocked and contained multiple disinfectant cleaners with the labels "keep out of reach of children" and "warning". 2. In the preschool classroom, there was a can of disinfectant spray with the labels "keep out of reach of children" and "caution" unlocked. 3. In the main entrance area, there were disinfectant spray and toilet bowl cleaner with the labels "keep out of reach of children" and "danger" accessible to children in care and unlocked. 4. The bathroom area located nearby the main entrance, there were two cleaners observed on the floor next to the toilet with the labels "keep out of reach of children" and " warning". 5. Photographs taken during the inspection of all the unlocked hazardous substance observed during the inspection.
