Comments:
An unannounced non-mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on-site May 29, 2024 from 10:24am until 11am. The director was not on-site during the inspection. There were 43 children present with 16 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of general procedures, administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and programming, Records were not reviewed at this inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today. Please specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures. Please do not use staff names; list staff by positions only.
Repeat Violation Based on observation of posted information, the center failed to ensure that documents required by the Superintendent shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises. Evidence: A copy of the Consent Agreement signed by the Assistant Superintendent of Child Care Health and Safety on May 14, 2024, and a copy of the Compliance Plan submitted to the Department on March 13, 2024, were not posted as required.
Plan of Correction:
Executive Director purchased magnetic clips to ensure documents will not fall off wall. Documents were posted on same day as violation given.
