Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 04/29/2024 from 10:50 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. There were 42 children present, ranging in ages from 11 months to five years old with eight staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and five staff records were reviewed virtually on 05/02/2024.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program..

Based on review of record, the center failed to ensure that staff complete the Virginia Department of Education ? sponsored orientation course within 90 days of employment. Evidence: 1. Staff #1?s start date was 11/03/2023. The date that Staff #1 completed the Virginia Department of Education ? sponsored orientation course was 05/01/2024. Staff #1 did not complete the Virginia Department of Education ? sponsored orientation course within 90 days of employment.
