Technical Assistance:
Consulted on TB screenings for independent contractors that visit center for enrichment activities.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today. All rooms were in ratio with direct care staff. Children were in circle time, transitioning to hand washing and lunch as well as on the playground upon arrival. Reviewed new staff records, medications on-site and trainings. Based on record review, an independent contractor's (IC) documentation of a negative TB test was not available. Evidence: The center did not have documentation of a negative TB screening or test within 21 days of employment for (IC #1)
