A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 02/05/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Upon arrival there were 99 children in care with 20 staff present. A sample of 2 staff and 9 children's records were reviewed, in addition to 2 medications. There was one child in care with a documented food allergy.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
