Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10/28/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. Upon arrival there were 53 children in care with 10 staff present. A sample of 5 children and 2 staff records were reviewed. Children were observed during circle time and playing in learning centers. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on a record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure the emergency plan had all required components. Evidence: The vendor's emergency plan did not have a procedure to address the Continuity of operations to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency.
Plan of Correction:
The following corrective action was provided by the vendor during the exit interview: The program director will include a procedure to address the continuity of operations.
