An unannounced focused inspection was conducted today from 10:15am-11:30am. There were 81 children (infants-5yrs.) supervised by 14 direct care staff. Classroom observations and a review of child supervision records were performed. Children were observed having circle time, playing outside on the playground, and engaging freely. There was a sufficient amount of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review, the center did not maintain ratios of one staff member for every five children for children 16 months old to two years old.
Evidence: On 9/13/2019, the Toddler classroom's child supervision record documented six children and one staff member from approximately 8:11am to 8:41am.
Plan of Correction:
We will make sure staff sign in on the back of the child supervision record.
