Licensing inspector discussed medication administration forms with staff.
Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from approximately 2:20pm-3:40pm. There were 55 children in the direct care and supervision of 5 staff. A sample of 5 children?s records, 5 staff records, 2 medications and 5 minor injury records were reviewed. The children were observed playing monopoly, playing uno, eating snack, preparing to play outside and being dismissed. Children were getting back into their routine from the shift of the holiday. One new staff member has been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the administrative teacher. Based on record review, An employee of a licensed or registered child welfare was employed without a completed sworn statement or affirmation. Evidence Staff A did not have a sworn statement of affirmation on file. Staff A is board officer of the organization.
