Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance provided to discuss the requirement of orientation training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as appropriate to the age of the children in care for staff within 30 days of the first day of employment.
Comments:
An announced monitoring inspection was conducted on 6/3/24. A review of staff personnel files was conducted by inspectors, Keesha Minor, Jessica Willis, Sarah Zirzow and Mahrukh Aziz at the Campagna office.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on file review, staff orientation training did not include the required components.
Evidence: Reviewed 6 staff records and found that Staff #4, Staff #5, and Staff #6 did not have documentation of all the required facility topics listed in the standards as of 10/13/2021, i.e. safe sleep, procedures to cope with crying babies or distraught children.
