The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the Director COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Further discussion included that the following documentation was still needed for the renewal package:
an inspection conducted by the local Health Department (within 180 days), and an inspection conducted by the local Fire Marshal's Office (within 180 days).

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A code compliance inspection was initiated and concluded on 05/19/2021. The Director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children present and only (1) staff person. Due to the pandemic, the center has closed down for the school year and plans to reopen on 09/07/2021. The inspector emailed the Director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed (1) staff record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable code sections. No violations were cited.
