Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 9/15/2023 at approximately 10:10am and concluded on 9/15/2023 at approximately 11:55am. There were a total of 39 children with 12 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, engaged in group activities and outdoor play time. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, were not maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.
Evidence: Chipped paint in classroom, lose wire (not electrified) coming out of equipment, rotting wood on storage shed in playground.
Plan of Correction:
All areas were repaired within 3 days.
