A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 07/30/2019 from 10:10am to 3:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed playing on the playground, participating in water play, playing in centers, eating lunch and preparing for nap. A formal observation was completed with the twos and toddler classrooms. The menu was posted. Lunch consisted of sausage, biscuits, apple sauce, mixed vegetables and milk. Interviews were held with staff throughout the inspection, and the inspector interacted with children in each classroom when appropriate. All classrooms and playgrounds were inspected today.
Eight children?s records and six employee records were reviewed during this inspection. Medication is being administered and was reviewed.
The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected.

Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed:
Infants A - 7:2
Infants B - 7:2
Toddlers ? 9:2
Twos - 10:2
Preschool ? 18:2
Pre - Kindergarten- 20:2
School Age - 13:1
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection.
