An unannounced inspection was conducted in response to a complaint that was received by the department on 8/28/2023 regarding allegations in the areas of staff to children ratio requirements. The inspection was conducted on site on 9/8/2023 from approximately 7:38-8:20 am. There were 23 children present ranging in age from 9 months to 4 years with 9 staff supervising. Interviews with staff were completed, observations were made in the center, and documentation was reviewed.
The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be not valid. There are no violations resulting from this inspection.
