Comments:
Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This onsite visit was conducted on November 13, 2019 from 10:50 am to 1:30 pm. There were 43 children in the care of 6 staff members. Five children and four staff records were reviewed and updated. Medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for one child. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation page.
Program activities, daily routines, staff interactions with children, posted information, emergency supplies and drill logs, snack/menu, circle time (stories and songs), departure/pick-up of children, classrooms and the outdoor playground areas were observed/reviewed. Lunches were provided by the children's parents. Interactions with the children were positive.

Based on observation the center failed to have one staff member wash hands before beginning diapering one child. Evidence: 1. One child was observed being diapered. 2. Staff #1 was observed not washing her hands before beginning diapering one child. 3. Staff confirmed hands were not washed prior to the diaper change of one child.
Plan of Correction:
Diapering procedures will be reviewed with staff and procedures will be posted.
